Architecture49 is seeking a Landscape Designer/Technologist to join our Ottawa office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Internal and external collaboration with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers and Planners;
- Assist in the development of creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations;
- Preparation of conceptual design, design development and construction documents including details and specifications;
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly.
- Assist in the preparation of design briefs, cost estimates and technical reports;
- Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements;
- Assist with contract administration and site inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.
- Member or Associate Member of OALA / AAPQ or eligibility for membership;
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite is required;
- Knowledge with BIM360, Civil3D, Sketchup and Bluebeam is an asset;
- Fluent in both official languages is an asset;
- Proven organization and time management skills; and
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
