Architecture49 is seeking a Landscape Designer/Technologist to join our Ottawa office. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Internal and external collaboration with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers and Planners;
  • Assist in the development of creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations;
  • Preparation of conceptual design, design development and construction documents including details and specifications;
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly.
  • Assist in the preparation of design briefs, cost estimates and technical reports;
  • Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements;
  • Assist with contract administration and site inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.
  • Member or Associate Member of OALA / AAPQ or eligibility for membership;
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite is required;
  • Knowledge with BIM360, Civil3D, Sketchup and Bluebeam is an asset;
  • Fluent in both official languages is an asset;
  • Proven organization and time management skills; and
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
