A Friend of the Profession of Landscape Architecture is a person or company interested in landscape
architecture or the allied arts and supports the further advancement of the profession of landscape architecture.
Friends have the privilege of attending meetings and events of the Association. The Friend receives all
membership mailings of the Association, as well as a free copy of an updated membership mailing list on request at any time during the year.

R.D. Sales is a 17 year-old firm of manufacturer's agents. We represent approximately 40 lighting manufacturers for the areas of Manitoba and North Western Ontario.
The products represented range from Architectural, Landscape, Site, Commercial Industrial, Roadway, Custom, Floodlighting to high end residential, to name a few.
The two principals, Bob and Don Lagimodiere are the lighting specialists that call on Consultants and assist in design and application of the products. Our service includes planning consultations with Architect, Engineers, Interior Designers and Contractors to properly apply the products to the specific project. This includes computer printouts showing lighting effects and lighting levels to guarantee the final lighting design meets the client's specifications. Budget pricing is provided at the preliminary stages to ensure there are no cost overruns at tender.

Gusta Sod Farms was established as a family enterprise in 1968 when 5 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass seed was planted on their farm in Stead, Manitoba. From the very beginning, the goal of Gusta Sod Farms has been to provide quality sod to Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario and the United States.
During 40 years of operation, Gusta Sod Farms has grown in size to approximately 600 acres of total production including residential, commercial and golf course quality sod.
Gusta Sod Farms uses #1 Kentucky Bluegrass custom seed blend exclusively from Brett Young Seed.
Depending on the job, we provide small roll (2 feet x 6 feet) or big roll (42 inches x 103 feet) for larger jobs. We also provide peat and mineral based sod.

Xpotential has been producing landscape products out of 100% post-consumer recycled materials since 1994. Our production plant is located in Winnipeg, MB. We use the non-metallic byproduct of the auto-shredder industry and combine it with recycled plastics to create our products. Essentially everything in a car that is not metal is used to create our product. This material is usually disposed of in landfills. Being made from recycled material our product can be used to earn LEED credits. 6x6’s, 4x4’s, outdoor steps, bollards and parking curbs are our main product lines. Our material can be used in a variety of applications including planters, light-duty fencing, steps, shoreline erosion control, green roofs, retaining walls, edging applications (field turf etc.), play structures and more.
XPotential Products will not twist, splinter, rot or decay. In comparison to wood, XPotential Products possess a greater compressive strength. Flexural strength is in the range of 1/2 to 2/3 that of wood. Harsh elements, severe temperatures, submersion in fresh or salt water and freeze / thaw cycles have little effect on our products. They will not suffer a reduction in structural integrity due to insect damage, termites, rodents, road salt, and periodic contamination with oil, gasoline and many corrosive chemicals.
XPotential Products are durable throughout and when cutting to length, ends do not need to be treated or chamfered.
